Privacy policy

Last updated: 30/07/2026

The short version: your workout data lives on your device and syncs only to your own account. There are no ads, and nothing about you is sold. Here is the detail.

What you give us

To create an account you provide a name, an email address, and a password. That’s it. We don’t ask for your phone number, your location, or anything we don’t need to sign you in.

Where your data lives

Everything you track — exercises, sets, routines, body metrics, fasting windows, reminders — is written to your device first and works with no connection. When you’re online it syncs to your account so you can reach it from another device. Only you, signed in to your account, can see it.

Your password

Your password is scrambled before it is ever stored, so no one — us included — can read it back. If you forget it, it can’t be recovered, only reset.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page visits and see which features get used. It doesn’t track you across other sites, doesn’t build a profile of you, and doesn’t need a cookie banner. We never see who you are — only anonymous totals.

No ads, no selling

We don’t run ads, and we don’t sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your training is your business.

Sharing a device

More than one person can use Otra on the same device, each with their own account. Signed in as one person, you only ever see that person’s data.

Deleting your data

You can remove entries any time inside the app. If you want your whole account and its data deleted, get in touch and we’ll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top. Continuing to use Otra after a change means you’re okay with it.
